Background
Ceramic membrane has been widely used in strict and harsh liquid environment for decades in china due to its stable chemical performance and thermal resistance.Because of CRM ceramic membrane high flux and mechanic strength,TFT developed new primary brine refining technology with integrated ceramic membrane separation process, which is called Ceramic membrane Primary Brine Refinery (CRBR).
In Ceramic membrane Primary Brine Refinery (CRBR) technology, instead of Dorr Tank, sand filter, carbon sintered filter pre-coated with cellulose, after mixed with Na2CO3 and NaOH, the reaction mixture can directly enter into ceramic membrane system, and reaction sediment can be rejected by membrane due to its high filtration accuracy. 

The filtrated brine from CRBR can reach high and stable quality: 
Suspended Solid: ≤1.0mg/L
Ca2++Mg2+≤ 1.0mg/L

Wide adaptability to all kind of raw salts:  sea salt, lake salt ,rock salt, well salt 
Ceramic membrane have been widely applied for primary brine purification and refining in  chloride alkali industry in many countries like China, India, Turkey, Russia,Mexico,USA...
