ICIM2018 in Germany

The 7-day 15th International Conference of Inorganic Membranes (ICIM2018) was concluded on June 22 at the Westin Bellevue Dresden in Germany. More than 300 participants working on inorganic membranes form 29 countries attended the conference. ICIM2018 arranged 1 main session,3 parallel sessions and 8 booths.There were 156 speeches and 86 posters on inorganic membranes displayed, 3 PhD speech awards and 3 poster awards were awarded.
ICIM2018 was definitely carnival of tycoons and elites from inorganic membranes industries.The conference on membrane science, membrane technology and functional layer for batteries and fuel cells analyzed the advanced technologies and developments in inorganic membranes and suggested that DDR zeolite and SiC/SiCN membranes applied in gas separation are hot research topics. About 30 professors and scholars from China displayed academic posters and lectures applauded by visitors, which shows that China’s rising global status in inorganic membrane industries.
